Headaches and migraines
Many headaches begin in the neck. When the joints and muscles at the top of the spine are tight and restricted, the tension refers up into the head. Addressing that source often reduces how often headaches show up and how hard they hit.
What it can feel like
- A band of pressure that starts at the base of the skull
- Headaches that arrive after long hours at a screen
- Tenderness in the neck and shoulders before a headache sets in
- A recurring pattern you have learned to expect
How chiropractic care helps
We assess the upper neck carefully, since restriction there is a common driver of tension-type headaches, then use gentle adjustments and soft-tissue work to ease it.
We will also talk through the everyday triggers we can actually change, screen time, posture, hydration, and sleep position, so care is not the only thing standing between you and the next headache.
