Back pain
Low back pain is the reason most people first walk through our door. It can arrive all at once from a lift or a twist, or build slowly from years of sitting. Either way, it responds well to care that restores motion and rebuilds support.
What it can feel like
- A deep ache across the low back that worsens with sitting or standing too long
- A sharp catch when you bend, lift, or twist
- Stiffness in the morning that eases once you move
- Pain that spreads into the hip or buttock
How chiropractic care helps
We look for the joints and muscles that are not sharing the load, then use adjustments and soft-tissue work to restore normal motion so the painful area is not doing all the work.
Because low back pain often comes back, we pair hands-on care with a few honest movement habits, how to lift, how to sit, and two or three stretches that keep the low back loose between visits.
Techniques we often use for this
- Diversified
- Drop-table
- Soft-tissue therapy
We choose the gentlest method that works for your body. Read more about each on the How Care Works page.
